Enhancing school zone safety in La Madeleine through pedestrian flow analysis

To improve safety around ten schools in La Madeleine (Nord), the municipality and its planning firm partnered with ALYCE to analyze multimodal flows (cyclists, light and heavy vehicles, pedestrians) and identify risk areas. Temporary cameras and minUi^®-based video analysis helped assess user behavior: crossing locations and frequency, compliance with crosswalks, interactions with vehicles.
