Use case

Monitoring crowd traffic during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games with Observer.

RATP and Keolis deployed ALYCE’s Observer sensors across over 10 stations near Olympic venues. The real-time counting data displayed in a custom dashboard supported operations, train scheduling and coordination with partners (IDFM, Police Prefecture), ensuring safety and flow management. Observer devices are now used year-round to assist network supervision.

Visitor counting at Strasbourg’s Christmas Market

To obtain accurate data on visitor attendance around artisan stalls, Strasbourg’s Eurometropolis partnered with ALYCE for manual counts. Strategically positioned surveyors collected data during peak hours. These insights now inform layout planning, stand pricing, and highlight underused areas for future optimization.
