The city of Saint-Médard-en-Jalles optimizes free parking in its town center with minUi®

To support local commerce, the city expanded its blue zone policy to provide free but time-limited parking, encouraging turnover. This policy requires enforcement to be effective. The municipal police use the city’s camera network to monitor compliance. Customized indicators in minUi®’s on-premise version send real-time alerts to officers for targeted enforcement.

SMT combines surveys and counts to understand carpool lot usage.

In order to optimize the layout of car-sharing areas, the Syndicat des mobilités de l’aire métropolitaine lyonnaise carried out a study combining counting and surveys. For 7 days, ALYCE teams measured entry and exit flows at 60 areas, using minUi® software and temporary camera acquisition to count and analyze the use of this infrastructure. At the same time, face-to-face interviews were conducted at 28 rest areas, supplemented by an online questionnaire accessible via QR code. 

GIP Littoral optimizes beach parking with Observer sensors

Beach parking areas on the Aquitaine coast face extreme seasonal demand. GIP Littoral uses ALYCE’s AI-enabled Observer sensors for real-time occupancy monitoring. These data power predictive tools and dynamic signage to guide users to available spaces. Info is also shared via tourist websites.
