Joris holds a PhD in Engineering from the Centre Morphologie Mathématiques of Mines ParisTech and Telecom Saint Etienne. He has more than 10 years of professional experience in signal processing, applied to fields as varied as biology and analysis of moving objects.

He joined ALYCE in 2019 as the Lead for the AI department.

Since then, Joris has overseen all work related to image processing, application of artificial intelligence, data science and deep learning in the R&D unit. In particular, he is the architect of the AI-based mobility analysis platform used daily by ALYCE customers and field production teams. His approach to low-energy computing was the subject of a patent application in 2022.
